Once inside the gated fence, you arrive on the peaceful grounds of this grand estate. Upon entering the inn’s doorway, you are greeted by friendly innkeepers awaiting your arrival with freshly baked cookies on a platter. The 1800’s style along with period furniture graces the entryway, main dining room, and breakfast room. Straightaway you will realize how much thought and time was put into crafting this beautiful bed and breakfast.
Unique Guest Rooms
The original owners, Richard and Chrissie Spanton’s incredible attention to detail can be seen in the seven guest rooms. Each has a different theme, making it uniquely its own.
Sundance Suite is a nod to the Wild West. Under a wagon wheel chandelier and with a holstered pistol hanging from a bedpost you find an ornate dark wooden bed. Sheriff badges and another pistol adorn the stone fireplace. Saloon doors open into the bathroom.
Elegant floral wallpaper surrounds the insideof the Queen’s Retreat. A plush bed with an elegant royal red duvet boasts an oh-so-soft suede headboard and footboard. This spacious guest room has a comfortable sitting area with an antique wardrobe and full-length mirror.
The quaint Farmers Quarters is an ode to the country life. Stone-covered walls fill this two-story suite, complete with a comfy couch, wood stove and rocking chair in the living room. The upstairs bedroom is decked out with a quilted wrought iron bed and footed bathtub.
