As part of a wonderful trip to St Martin, my family enjoyed all of our meals on this Caribbean island, but our lunch at Le Tropicana was something special. This harbor-front restaurant is a little hard to find, weaving through the alleys and past a graveyard, but so worth the effort. Its location on the gorgeous marina is the perfect waterfront setting.
Follow scenic Ocean Drive and you’ll find the historic Castle Hill Inn overlooking Narragansett Bay. Back in 1875, Alexander Agassiz of Harvard University, in need of a summer cottage chose this beautiful and then-private beach. Today his summer getaway has been transformed into a world class inn, welcoming travelers from around the world and housing a Forbes 4-star restaurant, The Dining Room.
Nestled in the secluded Boynton Canyon, Enchantment Resort is an exquisite destination to be experienced even if just for a meal out. One of our family’s traveling traditions is dining out for Sunday brunch. From a handful of restaurants at Enchantment Resort, we chose Che-Ah-Chi for this installment of our brunch tradition. As it turned out, this particular Sunday happened to be Easter.
In addition to the most luxurious accommodations at the world’s top destinations, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Collection is known for superb dining. Their elegant restaurants pair incredible cuisine and unparalleled service, satisfying the most discerning palate. Their Amelia Island resort more than upholds this top-notch standard. I had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island that included a simply outstanding dinner at their AAA 5-Diamond award-winning restaurant – Salt.
