Book a stay in downtown Atlanta, so your family can walk to world-class attractions like Georgia Aquarium, World of Coco-Cola, CNN Headquarters, and Center for Human and Civil Rights.
Just east of the port city of Wilmington, is Wrightsville Beach, a 4-mile long ocean playground along the Atlantic Ocean. Wilmington’s residents along with vacationers from around the state have found a perfect haven at Wrightsville Beach. My daughter and I spent a couple of fabulous days there and here’s what we liked best.
As part of a wonderful trip to Sedona, we used a couple days and ventured up to The Grand Canyon National Park. Day-trips on a tour bus are available, but we opted to drive up on our own and stay overnight. This gave us more time at one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
