When on the road, whether it’s for work or pleasure, it’s always nice to take a break from the usual dinner choices. On a recent work trip to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a group of colleagues and I enjoyed just such an opportunity. We experienced a truly unique and fulfilling treat, dinner with an Amish family.

For the seasoned as well as the occasional traveler, you have to be ready for just about anything that can make a trip go sideways. Among these, the weather is quite likely the least predictable and potentially most dangerous. I recently got a taste of being at the mercy of Mother Nature and have a travel tip to keep you ready when she doesn’t cooperate with your dinner plans.
